Performed by magician Jason Fun, Shrugs is an original character typically performed during the Halloween season. Previously hired for several events and shows by Evermore Park, The Towne Hub theater, and even for a company event in Las Vegas! Having Shrugs at your event is a fun option for some spooky fun and laughs!

The Show

During his world travels, Shrugs came upon several inexplicable mysteries, objects, legends and stories from around the world! Can the unexplained be explained? Does Magic really exist? Over the years and his travels, Shrugs has collected several Oddities and became an investigator of Curiosities. Most recently Shrugs has had a faciniation with ghosts, spooks, and spectres. 

In this NEW 45 min show (coming Fall 2024), Shrugs attempts to answer the age-old question: Do Spirits Return? Unlike a typical seance show, this show will have you laugh out loud in your own nervous excitement as Shrugs brings you to the edge of your seat, makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end, and shake with fear in this side-splitting, fun show as he attempts to contact those from the great beyond!

Because of the nature of this show, including mentions of death and murder, it is recommended for ages 16 + to attend. This show is available to book for private parties and events and best suited for under 50 guests to help maintain an intimate nature. Who is Shrugs?

Solomon Shrugs (simply known to his friends as Shrugs) was born in the late 1840's in upstate New York. He left his home at a young age to try and join the circus, but bathing elephants wasn't his ideal job. Looking for the next opportunity, Shrugs stumbled upon a traveling nomad who showed him an interesting product called The Fortune Telling Fish, in which a small fish could tell people's fortune. Shrugs invested every last penny and purchased all of these Fortune Telling Fish from the mysterious nomad. Shrugs went door-to-door trying to sell this curious oddity. Left with thousands of Fortune Telling Fish and in deep debt, Shrugs then traveled the world trying to make ends meet by perfoming shows and showing his various oddities & curiosities.

Shrugs claims to be a Time Traveler, collecting oddities & curiosities from different times from around the world, but he hasn't explained how he obtained a time traveling machine, nor has anyone actually seen it before.
