Bio for Jason Fun

Jason Fun is a full-time, professional magician and magic teacher! He has performed on three different continents, and has appeared on TV in Utah several times, including Fox 13 with Big Budah, Good Day Utah, and KSL's Studio 5 with Brooke Walker.

He is the current Regional VP for the Society of American Magicians overseeing and supporting the organization in 8 different states in the North-West Region of the US! Jason is also the Resident Magician Marriott's MoutainSide & Marriott's Summit Watch in Park City, Utah. He is also a frequent performer at the famous Mystique Dining and The Prestige Parlour of Magic, both located at Gardner Village in West Jordan, Utah.

Jason is an Award-winning magician having won the Discover Magic Golden Key of Excellence Award in Las Vegas four different years for his work with his magic school, Utah Magic Academy and his contributions to the educational Discover Magic program.

In February of 2024, Jason was awarded the Youth Instructor of the Year Award from Utah Valley University for his educational magic classes that he teaches through their Community Education program.

Jason's fun and exciting shows has dubbed him as Utah's Funnest Magician. Jason's wife, Marcela, has accompanied him every step of the way, serving back-stage and behind the scenes to ensure a great experience for Jason's audience!

Jason attends yearly magic trainings in Las Vegas and around the county where celebrity magicians and industry leaders have personally instructed him in the art of magic and performance. In 2019, he also attended a training in Costa Rica where he learned how to become an audience engagement specialist by connecting companies to their employees through magic in a positive, fun, memorable, and meaningful way!
